30/12/2006 Saddam's Death Penalty Too LightIn my earlier entries I have mentioned that the Saddam Execution was too merciful for someone like him. Or anyone, for that matter. Nowadays, people are being more open about death and dying, and are actually starting to embrace death. Martyrdom is held as high esteem in Islamic society (I'm generalizing, of course, as I know that not all Muslims will agree with me.) and so Sadly Insane during his visit with two of his brothers just before his execution stated that he was not afraid of dying, and he was offering his soul up to Allah, and if He wants, He'll bring his soul to Heaven with the other martyrs. In other words, Saddam and his loyalists think he's a freaking martyr! THIS is one of the reasons why I'm strongly opposed to the death penalty for ANYONE!!! Those with religious beliefs or not, they should not be put to death lest they are hailed as heros or martyrs. All death is to people today is an escape route. Y'know, just get it over with. And get this: Saddam was in a second trial for other war crimes he committed while in power. Sheesh! Shoulda just let him suffer thru psycological punishment of hearing the graphic details reiterated with such raw emotion; let him think about all this crap. Then let him wither away in prison till his dies with a whimper. One news article I read on the Internet last night reported that Saddam wanted to avoid just that. So did Saddam get he deserved? NO! The death penalty was too light. Saddam is DeadIt's midnight now, and I just found out Sadly Insane's dead. Now the major worry is sectarion violence during a 4-day long Muslim holiday carried out by Saddam loyalists. Hmmm, well, Dubya, your dream has finally come true. Now, who else are you gonna go after...North Korean Prez Kim Jung II? Oh yeah...your life as prez is also on the line. The executioners? American voters so fed up that they'll vote against you! Then you'll just be a lowly citizen walking down the street while people walk importantly by you with their noses in the air. So, enjoy your two more years in the Oval Office as lame duck!!! 29/12/2006 Saddam Hussein's Execution Vigil RantSo, Sadly Insane's gonna get a dose of his own medicine either tonight or tomorrow morning. Hmm. If you reallyreallyreally wanna know my opinion, Saddam Hussein should NOT be executed...it'll be too merciful for him. Seriously. Let him die with a whimper in prison. Oh, and get this: US authorities aren't gonna hand ol' Saddam over till immediately before the hanging in order so that he won't be humiliated or abuse. WHAT??? Ummm...EXCUSE ME??? ISN'T THIS THE SAME GUY WHO TORTURED AND KILLED HIS OWN PEOPLE??? AND THE US AIN'T GONNA HAND 'IM OVER TILL IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE EXECUTION LEST HE GETS TORTURED??? Oh, c'mon, gimme a break!!! I'm mad!!! Damn right I'm mad!!! But still, the bugger really should just rot in jail...give'im lotsa thinking time to reflect on what he did.

So, Sadly Insane lost his appeal to overturn his execution yesterday. Whatsa matter, buddy? Worried that you may not be able to escape from prison and take over the country like you did a couple of decades ago? Hmm? Ah, may Allah have mercy on the poor bastard...
Me got so impatient to get me Christmas decorations down so me start to put Christmas decorations away before New Year's Day. Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!! Is sooooo relieved! Me is sooooo relieved real relieved! Must put more decorations away...away...away...away...
Oops, I farted. Excuse me. 26/12/2006 CHRISTMAS IS OVER!!!So the main part of the holidays are over...YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It was a mixture of happiness and crankiness, but I survived...lol.
Dec 22-We had our Annual Christmas Pig-out Fest. About ten or fifteen people showed up so I had lots of food left over. Ah, well that's why man invented freezers! I cooked enuf for an army cuz my hubby went and asked like fifty people.
Dec 23-Can't remember...I think I had amnesia or something...
Dec 24-Went to church...and it was BORING! The preacher guy said a few snowman jokes and said something about Rudolph the Runny-nosed Reindeer but mostly I fell asleep. At night, I decided to treat myself to a large mug of egg nog sprinkled with allspice and a big piece of chocolate cake. Then I filled up the tub and had a steaming hot bath with my egg nog and cake. Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh........
Dec 25-Christmas Day. Did some laundry, opened some gifts, got into a few arguements but nothing major, then went down to the in-laws for turkey and depression, then went to visit my husband's aunt where we exchanged email addresses. That part was nice...lol.
Dec 26-Today, and Christmas is finally over...whoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooop! Now for hard exercise to compensate for the extra calories consumed,massive cleanup missions, and cardiac arrest over my visa balance. *&^%$#@!!!!!!!!! 20/12/2006 Christmas RamblingsOnly 2 more days before my Annual Christmas Pig-out Fest, and I'm almost done the food preps. Only make the butter-pecan tarts and the mincemeat tarts, and I'm done. (phew!!!) I'll be having enough sweets to feed an army, a huge pot of homemade chili, rolls, cheese/cracker/pepperoni tray, veggie/fruit trays, a "Birthday" cake for Jesus, and lots of pop/juice/egg nog/coffee/tea and all that crap. My husband has invited some people with bottonless pits for stomachs, so I hope I have enough.

There's a few other vids out there (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than mine...LOL!) poking fun at being politically-correct during this "Secular Winter Holiday Season". It's really weird. In Canada, we are encouraged to express our individualism, and to respect others as well. (We are considered as a multi-cultural country.) So, in expressing our own custom, we wish someone a "Merry Christmas!" and we have protesters in court protesting!!! Sheesh! How about saying " !" and maybe then everybody will be happy. Nah. Then people will file human rights complaints citing violation of religious freedom. Sigh...can't win, can we??? 16/12/2006 Give a Deafie a Break!!!I don't know what it is about online friendships. So this guy IMed me last night, and wanted to chat online. He's from Turkey. So I thought that was pretty cool. I wanted to ask a million questions, but I was polite, and we made some small talk at first. He wanted to use a Web Cam on me, and I didn't have one, so I tald him so. Then he wanted to do a Vaice Call. Sheesh! Knowing he'll probably have a thick accent, and me being hearing impaired, I declined cuz I know if I accepted, I'd be like "what? can you repeat that again?" all the time. Man, it's reallyreallyreally frusterating for someone hearing impaired to not hear the first time like the rest of the heairing world can! So I explained that to him, and he got all offended like I was lying to him or something. Whatever. Anyway, it's his loss. I don't mind meeting now people, but not jerks. I did a YouTube video titled "One World Video Response" about a week ago. I hope he sees that. 13/12/2006 Same-sex Marriage and Christmas CrapIt turned out that Liberal MP Scott Brison wasn't able to arouse the delegates to vote with their penises (see my previous entry) nor did anti-Isreal Mike Ignatiaff make it...Stephane Dion, some guy from Quebec who needs to brush up on his English is gonna be the next PM of Canada. Tell me, is related to Celine Dion??? Hmmm...
Speaking of Dion and Brison, the same-sex marriage passed the House of Commons 175-123. While Brison wanted Dion to force his MPs to vote in favor of SSM (well, duh, he's gay!!!) thank God Dion (though tempted) he allowed the MPs to vote however they liked. Finally, a FREE vote in Parliament...or was it? All 11 MPs in NS (yeah, including Liberal MP Roger Cuzner) voted in favor of SSM, not cuz they approved of SSM, but wanted the issue to close once and for all. Well expect more exciting debates in Parliament during the next ten years cuz the polygamists are starting their activism...sigh!
Christmas is here, almost on top of us...well, HAS been on top of us right after Thanksgiving!!! LOL I'm getting more and more stressed out by the minute! Grrrrrr!!! I'm afraid to look at my VISA balance, and my back's hurting like hell, and I don't wanna take Holy Communion cuz I have that pagan Xmas tree up! All this crap over a stupid Pagan-infested holiday (that was passed off as Christian by the dearly beloved Roman Catholic Church) is reallyreallyreally getting to me. Even the nativity stories and figurines are off-base. The Wise Men guys didn't visit Jesus (Yeshua HaMosiach) until He was two years old! C'mon, you Protestant-preachers-who-broke-away-from-the-Catholic-Church! Get your facts straight!!! And also, didn't the second or third Commandant tell you not to make any graven image??? Well, you're doing exactly that when you put up a Nativity Scene. That's only the beginning. |
