7/1/2007 Responsibilities, Summer, and BombsNow I am an OP in a potentially big channel on irc.dal.net...#scripture...a debate channel for Christians only. Wowsers. The owner gave me the job of building it, and now I have to reallyreallyreally stick my nose in the Bible! *gulp* The Wonderful World of IRC is now giving me responsibilies!! hahahaha As for Cranky OP in #christiandebate...I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actaully beginning to genuinely like the fella as a person. Hmmm...I wonder if I can genuinely start liking the rich snobs at my parish...
Hubby had his last day yesterday so he's off for the summer. In September, he'll be back on the job as a supervisor...and hopefully a significent wage increase. Seems like a long time...2 full months. Ah, well, there's always that trip to PEI and down to the south shore where Hubby's grandmother is buried. And strawberry picking.
London (England) barely escaped a spectacular bombing attack by them stupid al-Qaida punks late last week. Praise God it was foiled! It was strange, cuz it was foiled by pure accident...one car with gas and nails was found smoking, and another car was towed for illegal parking...also filled with gas and nails. Both car bombs were quickly diffused. Now I think of my own country...shudder...oh God, please protect us Canadians! In Yeshua's Name, Amen! |
